Vans blc - This bottom unit platform, featuring cold cement wrap construction, shares some of the same qualities with traditional vulcanizing. The construction type features both a molded rubber bottom plate and molded sidewall tape wrap. This Vans outsole unit (Vans blc) utilizes modern molding and adhesion techniques to save material and weight in the outsole tooling making this the lightest and most responsive board control outsole available.

Boardfeel OG - Vans original waffle sole with a special rubber formula is what attracted skateboarders to our brand back in the 1960´s. This outsole design and rubber compound make it the foundation for Boardfeel OG construction. We made some technical improvements by widening the sole at the heel for more stability and we added the Megathane midsole for improved cushioning. Look for the triangle on the rubber waffle outsole to identify this technology.
